Dalila Wabandi
Board Chair
Dalila works directly with young mothers and children in the D.R. Congo, supporting them through pregnancy, birth, and those exhausting first years. She chairs our board because she knows that when you help a mother survive, you help a whole family thrive.
Jordan Christopher Wright
Board Secretary
Jordan works on a farm and provides critical insight that guides our community farm in the D.R. Congo. As Secretary, he keeps our board organized and focused so our agricultural programs actually get food to the families waiting for it.
Destinee Mutombo
Board Member
Destinee came to Canada as a child refugee and remembers dropping out of school again and again because her family could not afford the fees. She serves on our board to make sure other kids do not have to choose between hunger and an education.
We are not here to save anyone. We are here to walk alongside our communities.
